Well I'm pretty sure the USN, etc., is or already has some systems and tactics, etc., to prevent our CVNs from being sunk. Of course if a CVN is taken out, things could rapidly go out of control. Anyone thinking about sinking one or more of them has to know that … |

Yes they are but they are still a better option than any other system currently deployed with similar force projection capabilities. |
