The French forever war and one partly of their own creation – when they led the campaign to destroy Libya they released huge amounts of weapons into jihadi hands and gave the jihadis a safe operating base across the border in Libya. Stupid is as stupid does. |

I feel sorry for the soldiers. The Libya intervention by France and others including the US was a complete blunder. A failure in concept and execution. Libya was one of the wealthiest countries in Africa and we helped turn it into a s***hole. Mali is one of the poorest countries in Africa, making it ripe for both foreign corporate exploitation and jihadi expansion. |

The mistake the West continues to make in that region and some others, e.g. A'stan. We think we can bring them out the 15th Century mind set. Blinded by religious, tribal, ethnic, etc., differences. It must be clear by now, they like it that way. Regardless of how many of them have to die. |
