Afternoon all,

I tried my hand at painting my first ever 6mm figures today, and was pleasantly surprised at how easy and quick they were to paint.

Some pics of the figures are over on my blog, let me know what you think!

They look good to me, I've done a lot of 10mm over the years and yes one can paint them up fast though sadly I am not a fast painter in any scale.

Perfect, wargame standard.

Looking good! For Grand Tactical it is hard to beat the "mass of bayonets" you can get with 6mm

They look great!

Agreed. 28mm is an excellent way to fight a brigade or divisional action. But if you want to fight a big, famous historical battle it's time to call in the little people.

I think they look very nice. I experiment with the wee lads from time to time, but I always end up selling them off. My biggest problem is that I try to paint small figures like I paint larger figures, and I don't think you can do that.

For their size….nice job!

The ARVN Army?

Sorry, it was the first thing that came to mind when I read this.

For this I blame the late great Robin Williams, and "Good Morning Vietnam!"

I find painting buttons on 6mm figures a little tricky, don't you?
