Looks like a workable solution. The M2A2 or Marder 1A3 are both pretty good bases for upgrades. But as always it comes down to $ … As we know the Turks are the biggest threat to the Greeks … at least for now … |

IIRC they are one of the NATO members who spends about 4% on defense. While others spend the 2% or less. I do like the name of the IFV, they should call the new on, which ever is chosen, the Leonidas II. I know a number of Greeks. Many have a long standing hatred and distrust for Turks in general. And currently the US should feel the same. The less secular and more "religious" Turkey become. The less Western they also become. |

Not sure ? But if one notices today, many MBTs, IFVs, etc., do look a lot similar in many cases. |

Yes the Leonidas was a version of Austrian Saurer though the Greeks did much more with it than the Austrians |
