Yes, I've heard about this incident. A sad event, and I don't think the IJFs really thought thru this project. Another waste their assets, etc. |

Brutal and pointless, like a lot of the Axis war effort. It's astonishing how much time and energy they wasted on things that didn't work or were counterproductive. |
