Spray paint fumes, plastic modeling glue fumes, rubber cement fumes. I seem to react very strongly to even mild exposure to these, even in well-ventilated areas. Other than that, no real smell issues. |

I apply Minwax Polyshades oil-based stain to my figures, aka, The Dip. The smell used to bother me, a lot. Now, after using it for 20+ years, I've grown accustomed to it. I still don't care for it, fresh, but after a few months, it drops in intensity. That, plus my built up tolerance for it, makes it livable. Cheers! |

Solvents. Too many years of being hunched over figures using enamel paints. Threw my Humbrols away 25 years ago. I don't use plastic cement inside the house either. |
