If the Syrian gov't owns the air is it prudent to try and use vehicles much at all? Will the rebels move to terrorist/guerilla warfare? Does Syrian terrain make this easier or harder? |

Syria is a lot of desert. It is harder to not become a target for aircraft than e.g. in the jungle. However, being a lot of open spaces, the only way you can move with any sort of speed in by vehicle. And take the proper defensive measure to not become a target. However, like I said, many in the region rarely demonstrate any tactical competence in general. |
