… "or we could fix it with duct tape." then why is there an Option One? |

I think you you're on the cusp of expressing an addition to Murphy's Laws. Keep at it--the truth is out there! TVAG |

I used to have a handyman I used whose phrase was "If duct tape is an option there ain't no more viable option" |

I don't know, we recently purchased what was labeled as "the original duct tape". It wasn't. |

Why is duct tape like the Force? |

"We could slather it with WD-40…" |

"Why is duct tape like the Force?" not like the force it IS the force
light on one side dark on the other and binds the universe together : P |

The only tools the home handyman needs, Duct tape and WD-40 If it moves and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move and its supposed to, WD-40. Words of Wisdom from…Red Green…I think. |

Well, in a more rural setting, there is also baling wire. The cowboys have a saying: "If it can't be fixed with baling wire, it can't be broken." Excuse me, that's actually, "if'n it cain't be a-fixed with bail'n waare, it cain't be busted." |

"Duct" tape is great for everything except taping ducts. It's actually lousy for that, as it can't take the heat. And while Duck Tape is a brand name, that's actually the correct name for what gets called "duct tape." (There is actual "duct tape" designed for ducts, but it's a different formulation than the familiar product.) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duct_tape So it's duck tape that holds the Universe together. Duct tape only holds ducts together. |

"if'n it cain't be a-fixed with bail'n waare, it cain't be busted." Johnny Cash couldn't be a-fixed with bail'n waare, but he was busted. Several times. |

Excuse me, that's actually, "if'n it cain't be a-fixed with bail'n waare, it cain't be busted." Much better! If'n it cain't be said in dialect, it shouldna ben said at all! So it's duck tape that holds the Universe together. Duct tape only holds ducts together. So does Duck Tape hold ducks together? Thank God for 3M!!! |

von Schwartz, If you are wrapped too tightly tell your girlfriend to be more gentile. Got any videos? I actually know a guy who used duct tape to hold someone's body parts together. He said it worked. Wolfhag |
