"Set in the final throes of WWII, the pic follows a group of Allied soldiers as they prepare to take to the air in a B-17 Flying Fortress. The all-male crew are caught off guard when Captain Maude Garrett, played by Moretz, boards. With her military knowledge initially winning over the soldiers, things escalate quickly into chaos when they suspect her intentions are not as expected. As paranoia kicks in, something far more sinister is lurking in the shadows, something with sharp teeth and a taste for human blood. The movie will start its theatre roll from February." A captain as ball turret gunner? That's completely implausible. At least as implausible as a woman intentionally placed in a combat role during WW2. If you're going that way, just set the movie in the South Pacific and put the crew in shorts and tank tops. It will make the film look a lot better. |

As Russell Crowe once said, "Don't go to movies to learn history." This is meant to be nothing more than a fun movie with over the top action. Ive heard they hired a director who made a name for herself with over the top kung fu action flicks in Asia. So I'm sure that over the top kind of thing is what they wanted and those who go will see. I'm looking forward to it. But then I've always been a big Chloe Grace Moretz fan. |

Gack! Too much room inside the plane (I've been in one!), no high altitude flight gear, taking off with someone inside the ball turret. Gack!!! Jim |

Pretty obvious that it is suppose to be an adventure / horror / fantasy movie. I wouldn't be too hard on the film because they didn't have the right pilots scarf for 1943. Looks mindless entertainment. I might not pay to see this (well, I don't pay to see any hollywood movies), but in the background while I'm painting, sure. |

Gack! Too much room inside the plane (I've been in one!), no high altitude flight gear, taking off with someone inside the ball turret. Gack!!! Yeah. "Put her in the Sperry for take-off." Wha da …? What possible scenario is there for putting someone in the ball turret for take off? I wouldn't be too hard on the film because they didn't have the right pilots scarf for 1943. Don't see anyone objecting to the flight jackets or why she was wearing combat boots on an airfield with paved runways. Or even why a B-17 would have a Scotsman on the crew in the Pacific (notice it was Japanese planes intercepting them?). But really the best fiction, whether sci-fi or hi-fi, starts with a believable premise before making it's departure into fiction. If they lose you on the premise, you ain't going on the rest of the ride with their storyline. At least that's my view. Won't be lining up to see this one. But then they probably weren't trying to entice me in to begin with. -Mark (aka: Mk 1) |

It's an American plane, no reason you couldn't find a Scottish-American on board. They could have even had it flowed by an all female crew on a transfer mission that went off course. It is kinda funny that no one seems to be upset that there some type of gremlin involved. It does look like a good popcorn movie. |

Watched it and it was dumb as hell like most weird war films seems to be. If you into the SJW message, your gonna love it! Brian |
