Very nice setup. It seems to me that C&C with miniatures is a great way to game! |

Already followed! Steve's posted a series of articles on simple rules – tied into a mega game of Germantown – which is worth reading. |

Wonderful blog. I've added it to my favorites. Thanks for the heads up, Tango |

Nice. Those Command and Color rules are extremely popular, I need to check those out. The hex thing has kept me at bay but maybe there is a way around that? The blogger also writes an article extolling the virtues of simple rules and play
link I note that British grenadier rules didn't make the list. |

I'll raise you a Washington's Wars and call. The combo table gets it everytime. |

I'll see your British Grenadier hatred and raise you Piquet You're annoyed that someone doesn't think British Grenadier is a simple, quick set of rules? Who could possibly think it is? |

BTW Sound Officers Call is a great blog. |

I'll see your British Grenadier hatred and raise you Piquet. Hahaha. Oh, c'mon, "hate" is too strong a word. In order to hate British Grenadier rules I would have to be able to read them for longer than two minutes before falling asleep. |

Plundered? Let me see if we all understand the concept of Internet publicity. Someone in the hobby starts a public blog and when it gets picked up by a wargames website and somehow it's a case of "They're after me lucky charms"? Little read blogs want to remain little read? Can this be the purpose of publishing on the Internet? It isn't like these sites keep private and charge money to view their content. I know you guys don't think it's copyright violation; not least because I'm pretty sure none of you understand the copyright act. Maybe, just maybe, if the site linking your blog was a site that had a conflicting message or a stigma attached to it, you could ask for a link removal. An example might be a White Supremacist site linking your pictures of painted SS minis or a Satanic site showing your recently painted demons. However, in term of message and vision, this is a pertly aligned website and Tango ALWAYS posts in a favorable light to the author. Which is more than I would do. Frankly, under the auspices of what has been seen cannot be unseen, some of the paint jobs he showcases from other blogs look like they were executed as some sort of physical therapy by someone whose fingers were accidentally severed and reattached. The question of attribution has been asked and answered. If Tango doesn't want to extend you a certain courtesy, that's also a case of asked and answered. Sometimes the decision doesn't go your way and you have to abide by that. Continuing to muck up the works shows that you aren't so much interested in the rules as in getting it your way. However, I suspect this isn't a question of rules and I'm skeptical that it's a question of law. It seems more likely it is a question of control; some want to use TMP to get higher readership but only when it both suits and is controlled by them. Incidentally, I have never once suspected Tango of being the author of any work he presents. He is well known here to be a herald of others' work. A sort of wargames bumble bee. |

Well, like you state above, I am speaking to those who have blogs. As for the men without blogs, like yourself, they are just virtual anarchists throwing Molotov cocktails of disruption into every thread. |

If you don't have a regularly plundered blog, then your opinion doesn't matter to me. My friend does have one … By your standard your opinion doesn't matter either. Your friend's does. If people want their websites/ blogs private that is easily done. If they make them available to the public then they should expect this sort of thing. |
WillBGoode | 10 Dec 2020 5:47 p.m. PST |
So you are saying its ok to take from people? You think its alright to grab someone's work and pass it off as your own is the right thing to do? Evan make excuses for them to make it feel right to do something wrong? Well, that is what you are saying isn't it. What we it Buzz Light year said?

I love how the CC system tackled this conflict, it's about my favorite in the series actually. And you don't need but one expansion, and it's done! No interest in Jacobite rebellion, sorry. |
