The Vosges Campaign does not get enough attention, IMO.

After Normandy the focus always seems to be on Market Garden and the Ardennes.
Allied casualties were still high right up the end and there a lot of overlooked battles..thinking of British and Canadians in Holland for example.

There is an interesting book on the campaign, called, IIRC, "When the Odds Were Even." I don't happen to have it handy at the moment. Read it a few years ago.

Would be a great subject for a campaign. The US & Brits would have one set of operational goals, the Germans another, and the French a third set.
