The Vosges Campaign does not get enough attention, IMO. |

After Normandy the focus always seems to be on Market Garden and the Ardennes. Allied casualties were still high right up the end and there a lot of overlooked battles..thinking of British and Canadians in Holland for example. |

There is an interesting book on the campaign, called, IIRC, "When the Odds Were Even." I don't happen to have it handy at the moment. Read it a few years ago. |

Would be a great subject for a campaign. The US & Brits would have one set of operational goals, the Germans another, and the French a third set. ;-) B |
