yes, correlation does not mean causality.

who knows what other factors, behaviors et al may be going on in these populations.

As the article states, a properly designed randomized control trial would go far to uncover actual benefits of capsaicin.

If you don't believe me, check out "Larva Island" on Netflix. My grandkids turned me on to that show.
