Actually, the tin foil hats have now been replaced with mandatory face masks which apparently work about as well as the tin protective devices, given reports that of those getting the virus, 85% report they were wearing face masks to prevent that.

My go to news source has become Al Jazeera – English. It is probably the least biased of all the US MSM, BBC or CBC.

Okay, so the reports said that the Monolith was built using "human style rivets". Ignoring the very funny fact that those reporting felt they had to specify "Human Style" I mean, what would In-human rivets look like? How would you know it was a rivet if it didn't look like anything a human would make to use as a rivet? But I digress…

If you had created a method of time travel, how would you test it? Send something back in time in such a way that it would get reported, and put in the historical record, but not make a impact on history. And then when you found it worked, retrieve it… I am only 90% joking here. 10% of me is seriously wondering about this…

As an addendum to Thresher's earlier comments, I ask you to ponder this. If the wearing of masks is required in so many places, and masks are so effective in preventing the communication of the virus from person to person, and so many more people every day are wearing masks, why does the daily count of new COVID cases keep rising?

A third one has appeared at the bottom of a cliff on a beach at the Isle of Wight. Reports said the beach was only accessible from the sea or by abseil. The monolith, from looking at photos posted, was another tall slim structure with three sides and a highly polished reflective surface. However, on closer examination it turned out to be made from plywood with mirrors stuck to it. Hardly an alien item I'd say.

Yes I've noticed other copycat ones appearing now in the Netherlands and other countries. And then I read about that retired Israeli general who says there are aliens of the Galactic Federation in communication with the US and both have an underground base on Mars, with the aliens waiting until we have evolved and learnt to recognise spaceships and space travel properly before they will reveal themselves, which caused pause for thought. I'm sure Tango will be all over that somewhere on TMP..
