Hi.
I have some old Reaper pre-dropped pots that I would like to rehabilitate.
None are totally solid. The standard colors seem to be more workable with lots of aggitaion and a wee bit of water.

The metalics got wierd though. They separated with cloudy liquid and a lump like a pigmented metallic nucleus. With some proding I can get a liitle on a brush.

Any ideas?

Thought the recent comments suggested buying a new bottle.

Metallic paints never seem to revive well after long periods of time. I have seen suggestions to use alcohol rather than water with metallics, but I have never tried it myself.

As I he great philosopher once said, "… let the past die." Though it must be said didn't contribute to the situation in any meaningful way.

When paint gets in that condition, it isn't due to solvent evaporating. It's due to polymerization. You can't reverse that.
Break down and buy new paint.

Well that's a damn shame. The old Gunmetal is a different color than the new dropbottle.

Bummer…
