I don't have the patience for that … I mean, what kind of bait did he use? :) Actually, this is inspiring for me, and a bit of … duh. When I do scratchbuilding or sculpting projects, I often use clay. Air dry or binary polymer (green stuff). And I usually have bits left over … you always make a little extra just so you don't come up short. I use those bits to make "little bits" – fruit, loaves of bread, knapsacks, small boxes, etc. – to be detailed decor for later projects. I can't believe I haven't made fish! And I love fish. I probably won't get them to look as goo as these (that would take a long, long time painting for me), but it's worth a go. Merci, mon frère! |

Looks like my typical catch after a day on the lake, but most of them aren't as big as these. |
