I am a late convert to 1/72 from 28mm and still keep an open mind. I am trying to contribute to thomaspicton's Waterloo project and have been hugely impressed with Art Miniaturen's Prussians, whether Hussars, Landwehr cavalry, uhlans or dragoons. I think they are sensational.

But then…..

Very recently released Saxon Hussars. At rest and I imagined an easy conversion to Prussians. They would surely be even better than the earlier products. I am….disappointed….and maybe I should have looked at the website's magnified images more closely.

Has anyone else bought these? Was I just unlucky with my batch? I have seen some painted as Bavarian hussars and they look far better cast and detailed.
