Anything "veggie" isn't a "burger", now matter what many overpaid people try to tell you.

They're not trying to tell you. They're trying to tell themselves.

Nobody on the meat eating side has a problem talking about a chicken patty sandwich or a fish filet sandwich. And I only have a turkey burger when it is ground turkey, otherwise call it what it is.

But that's a nomenclature issue.

The thing that keeps me from buying more vegetable patties for sandwiches is they are all "veggieburgers". If you want me to buy it, don't make it a chore to find out whether it is a six-bean, black bean, or eggplant patty. I would eat all three of those (and others), but I don't want a guessing game prior to purchase.
