Here is a 3D printed model of HMS Aphis, an Insect-Class British river gunboat. She served in the Mesopotamia campaign, providing naval gunfire support on the Tigris River for example. The model is 2.5" long:

Wargaming has never had it so good. Imagine wanting a new ship model back in 1973. Very nice little model. martin

Indeed. Now if we could just get that Peter Pig guy to sculpt more figures for his ACW and RCW line, we'd be in heaven! :) |

At a touch of a button, the model can be scaled to 1:600 or whatever. It is extraordinary – and fun. New skills to master… Robert |

Thank you for posting the link, Wackmole9. The model illustrated is an excellent example of the upgraded Insect-Class gunboats for use in WW2. Robert |

Could you make it in 1:150? |

She would be 48cm long in 1:150 scale. Doable but would have to be printed in sections and pieced together. Much like the original, which was shipped as components that were assembled together in Mesopotamia – so there is precedent with this class. Robert |
