Actually, quite a few battles involved beaver dams – I can think of three just off the top of my head (1 from the 1788 Cranberry War, 1 from the 1792 Russo-Polish War and 1 from the 1808 Dano-Swedish War in Norway). I'm guessing that any battle near a river, unless it was in an urban area would have beaver dams. I have yet to read the article but I'm guessing the techniques could be used to represent dams on a wargaming table with a little modification. |

I don't understand German, but considering the long beard on the white dude, I am assuming this is set in the 1800s, not F&I. I also also assume he is carrying a musket since it has bands, which rifles do not have. Nice diorama. Not a game, but nice. |
