In the 1689 campaign some sources are suggesting some of Dundee's Highlanders were regulars(S. Reid). So how would they be armed? All musket? Shot/pike mix? Or just regular training with highland armament?
Purcell's Irish are suggested as poorly armed shot/pike yet landed as dmtd dragoons? So what would be most accurate?
Thanks for your time and expertise.
