What is "real"? What is "reality"? Reality for each of us is that portion of the universe we can experience with our five senses (seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, feeling) and conceive with our mind. My reality is different from the reality of someone living on the opposite side of the world. It's like the tale of three men who have been blind their entire lives and encounter an elephant for the first time. Each man grabs a different part: trunk, tusk, leg; and each perceives the elephant differently. We are all looking at the universe through long straws and none of us have the ability to see the complete reality. If I can imagine something, does that make it real. Deep thoughts…:-) |

You may possibly be dipping into a parallel universe when you dream while sleeping. Of course, we may be the dream state of the parallel universe (in which case they have some pretty boring dreams… ;-) |
