FWIW – Lifecolor makes an IJN paint set that includes that deck color. |

The wooden decks on BBs and CVs were allowed to age during the war ending up a greyish light brown. Late war carrier decks were painted in shades of green and black as camouflage, sometimes with turret shapes. |

Most sources say that IJN destroyers and cruisers had brown linoleum type decks. However, there is a reference to these being overplated with grey steel plates. Which is correct or were both used? |
