Any US retailers that make thin MDF for terrain that you all use? |

How thin? I get 4*8 sheets from hardware store up here that has a building supply section. |

Agree with Striker. Check your local hardware store. You should be able to find 4' x 8' sheets of Masonite (hardboard) or even smaller sizes. Look at Lowe's or Home Depot. They may also be able to cut the large sheet into smaller sheets for you. Jim |

Buy a 10" Miter Saw, for $100 USD, from Harbor Freight, or your favorite DIY store. You can easily precision-cut bases of any size, with a little know-how, and practice. A Table Saw would help, though, to cut down larger pieces to manageable sizes. If you want extreme precision cuts, buy a 40W laser cutter. : $400. USD You won't get better accuracy on any other tool. These will permit you to do a lot of other, non-hobby work at home, while also allowing you to get precisely whatever you need, in MDF, or similar materials, for your gaming hobbies. If you just want to buy what you need, then I suggest any laser cutting company who offers MDF bases. Shop both e-Bay, and Amazon. Cheers! |

Buy mdf coasters and placemats, pre cut and readily available. |

@captaincold I presume that you have tried Amazon? I'm in the UK, but managed to order 3mm MDF sheets, which I cut using a scroll saw. Check out this post on my blog for the links to the MDF and the saw: link I would have thought that you could purchase these items via Amazon in the US too. |

You can find 1/8' masonite at the DIY store… but if you prefer thinner 3mm MDF you will need to look to ebay or Amazon. TRU |
