I am continuing to paint through my Triguard collection, sitting since 2016. With a combination of Triguard & Sash & Saber (last photo is comparison), I find I have been able to successfully scale up.
"Notwithstanding the enemy's numbers, they did not make one gallant attempt during so long an action." -Lieutenant Colonel Smith, on Lexington & Concord
"You might have tracked the army from White Marsh to Valley Forge by the blood on their feet." -General George Washington, letter to the Congress
Sash & Saber 2 figures at left. Triguard 2 figures at right. Sculpts of both offerings are great. I love marching poses for this era (I know many hate them). I feel the figures capture what Lord Percy was describing in 1775: "Whoever looks upon them as an irregular mob will find himself much mistaken. They have men amongst them who know very well what they are about." |

From where are the Triguard figs? They look a bit bigger than S&S, or is that just a camera distortion |

Triguard was Trident Designs from Miniature Service Center. It was taken over by a nice guy in New Zealand. His website is here: triguardminiatures.com As for size, they are a little bigger, but many of the figures mix in well in large units. I'm currently gaming with 20 man units since both manufacturers sell 20 man packs. Triguard calls them "battle packs". I'm pleased with them. I get S&S from Old Glory. |

They look great! I have been painting some of Triguard's FIW minis recently. I found that Front Rank's 40mm minis size up with them quite well. |
