"On October 23, Chinese President Xi Jinping presided over a major meeting commemorating the 70th anniversary of China's entry into the Korean War (known in China as the "War to Resist American Aggression and Aid Korea"). It was the second event in five days to feature Xi providing his interpretation of the conflict, following a visit to a museum exhibit on October 19. This event was decidedly more high-profile. The meeting was livestreamed online and promoted in advance, and the full text of Xi's remarks was uploaded by Xinhua, China's state news agency. Like the museum visit earlier this week, the meeting on Friday was attended by all seven members of the Politburo Standing Committee, as well as by Vice President Wang Qishan…" Main page link Amicalement Armand |

Hmmmm…….. Sounds like they are laying the ground work, and justification for their own war, even when there is no REAL threat. |

More rhetoric directed as much for their own domestic consumption as the big bad USA, yawn. China isn't the only guilty party here, just listen to the public statements made by Pompeo, Esper and Pence et al. (the POTUS's attack dogs) recently in their "War of Words" with China recently. |

US has long had a policy of 'pre-emptive defence'. You could say China has as much right to do this as the US. I don't. I say the US should abide by international law and so should China. Curiously, more and more Americans are tired of their governments foreign policy, but you can't get THAT in the debates or on the MSM media channels. And since US foreign policy scarcely changes when administrations come and go this is not a party political issue. |

The People's Republic of China is a totalitarian aggressor state violating human rights, international rights, international trade rules, and Western intellectual property, on a daily basis. This state is the single most dangerous enemy to worldwide peace, safety, and prosperity, by far. Beneath a thin veneer of civilized conduct it's still the very same monster Mao created. It has already killed many tens of millions, and if it is given the chance it will kill hundreds of millions more. To quote a fictional character named Kyle Reese; "It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead." |
