Anyone know what type of wood was used to plank Bismarck? When I Google this I just get links to suppliers of replacement wooden decks for models.

Wonder if Germany had stock piled teak in the interwar years? Hard to imagine any imports getting through unless the Japanese brought it in by submarine..
