…Missile Shipment Delivered To Venezuela

"The United States is warning it will destroy potential Iranian long-range missile shipments delivered to the Maduro regime in Venezuela, a senior administration official tells Fox News.

"The transfer of long-range missiles from Iran to Venezuela is not acceptable to the United States and will not be tolerated or permitted," said Elliott Abrams, the State Department Special Representative for Iran and Venezuela.

"We will make every effort to stop shipments of long-range missiles, and if somehow they get to Venezuela they will be eliminated there," added a senior administration official…"

The deployment of long-range missiles in Venezuela will raise red-alarms everywhere…. The target would obviously be the U.S., and the Iranians will probably be the ones who will managing it. So why is the U.S. issuing the threat now when there are no Iranian long range missiles in Venezuela? It looks like there are some intelligence indicating that this is what Iran and Venezuela want to do, and are making plans….

All a lot of fuss about nothing. No evidence Iran is even contemplating such a move.

Even if there were long range missiles in Venezuela, unless nuclear they pose zero threat to the US. Imagine what would happen if one was fired?

Just more propaganda to justify the sanctions and military actions against Venezuela/Iran.

Justify?…. my dear good friend… how much do you know about Maduro and his gang?… read Bachelet paper first…

Tango +1 …

Iran is going to keep pushing the envelope, we keep giving them enough rope to hang themselves. noose Then when the US blows up something of theirs in response, they will dance in the streets singing "Death to America!", etc. They are living on borrowed time. We can pretty much take out anything we want in their country, in the air and on the seas.

They got the wrong message when Sueliamani and his associates were droned. Being in a leadership position with jihadi, terrorists, etc. is not a good move for upward mobility. Unless you count the being blow up, etc.

We can pretty much take out anything we want in their country, in the air and on the seas.

Except the modern US is increasingly unwilling to do anything proactive to curb Iran. It's just pointless tit-for-tat.

No point in having the biggest gun if you are scared to use it whilst the other guy tries to dash your head in with a rock.

Well at least we took out soleimani; the last guy in office was sending plane loads of cash to Iran. And the guy before him had our military playing policeman and nation builder with no end in sight. No one from either political party is much interested in starting another war. Israel will make sure Iran doesn't get a nuke; and we will back Israel.
