Were there any brigade-sized battles in the 1948 partition war in Palestine that featured maneuver by both sides? Looking for something suitable for a game system with platoon-sized stands. |

From my reading over the years (keeping in mind this is just my memory) I think most actions were attacks on positions so not sure how much manuvering was going on. Maybe do some googling on the 1948 war then click on some of the fights it highlights? Or maybe someone who knows a lot more about this subject will jump in here with some nice details. Good luck! |

A number of ops occurred around the Jerusalem and Latrun area. That can be Bde sized battles using platoons. Look at this game … scroll thru the pics of the game counters, maps, etc. It should give you some good ideas. link And here is a good OOB for the '48 War for the Arab – link For Israel there is a good OOB in the game pics in the first link too. I'll see if I can find more too. |
