How did you like the rules? Did you think they gave a good "feel" for Ancients? And how do the rules handle units that have more than one type of weapon in them? |

The rules are large scale skirmish similar to The Sword and the Flame. Can be played with individually based figures if desired. Most of the units in the above game were dual armed. The rules cover various weapon types with different characteristics listed. Not really an historical game and more for fun. Way too bloody. Similar to Saga in that respect. Rules cover all periods from ancient to science fiction future. I am interested. Is it large scale skirmish in the way of let's say Lion Rampant, where the miniatures might be based individually but are grouped next to each other in units? |
