If I'm basing 4 28mm figures per base for Line Infantry, how do you suggest I base my Dismounted (skirmishing) Cavalry? And I'm specifically referring to the ACW here. Thanks. |

we use the same size bases as for line units but for dismounted cavalry we put two or three figures on the base. It represents skirmish order and the fact that cavalry units were not as large as normal infantry regiments. It also look visually correct. |

I am planning on using 50mm rounds and basing dismounted cavalry 2-3 figures per base. So, one horse holder base and five dismounted bases per 12 fig cav regiment. |
