You were asked – TMP link

On a scale from 0 (no guilt) to 10 (maximum guilt), how guilty do you feel about all the stuff you've bought and never used?

Average response: 2.5

I've had a lot of painting time this year. I've purchased a fair number of figures – of which all have been painted – but the lead pile has taken a significant dent too. That assuages much of my guilt.

Only regrets for the figs I've sold.

I don't think I have any figs I've never used.

Maybe an odd unit here or there, but every collection I have has been gamed with multiple times.

Tho my 15mm Napoleonics see the least action as my club have shedloads on site so why travel?

Extra Crispy That sounds like poll right there how many of the periods you own have you played with?

I have 23 periods
one that I haven't used yet but I'm just finishing it now.
One that's only been used solo.
two that have never been used but are complete, until I start using them:-)
3 are nowhere near completion

Zero guilt. This is especially true since retirement when I started to sell off my war game surplus. It's amazing how much I have sold without feeling like I gave up anything I actually wanted to keep. The funding to the War Department have allowed me to indulge in new purchases totally guilt free.

+1 for that

I think back to the days spent packing and loading the truck for our move to Florida, I could've packed 90%-100% of my stuff into the nooks and cubbies. I had all those empty drawers, DOH!!!
