Very nice I've been eyeing up this model for use as a slaver Dhow on lake Nyasa for my Karonga war project I really must get one now.

It's a versatile piece. The breadth of applications was a good reason to buy it although, I am simply a sucker for ships of any sort. So I didn't need an excuse.

Thanks All.

Dave, the Ketches are coming up. This was being done in parallel but required much less work and rigging. The dhow sort of jumped the queue. I am actually painting crews at the same time and these are taking a little longer.

That is a beautiful ship, can I ask what company makes the crew figures? I have been looking for good 28mm Barbary pirate or Indian Ocean crew figures.

Awesome thanks for the reply! could you tell me how tall they are to eye level, most of my pirates are Foundry, Redoubt, or Dixon which are on the smaller side of 28mm.

jocknroll12 Oct 2020 7:50 a.m. PST

circa 28mm to eye level. They will fit in fine with all of those ranges.

Great thanks again!
