Apparently so, courtesy of Eagles of Empire Miniatures! link Hopefully the set will be available soon. I first became aware of the First Schleswig War and the Danish Army's M1842 uniform from Preben Kannik's excellent reference book Military Uniforms of the World in Color back in the mid- to late-'80s. Although that uniform was replaced soon after war was declared, I've always liked the look of that "classic" post-European Napoleonic appearance. God willing, I'd definitely like to purchase a box or two of these minis when they are released! |

Looks interesting. I too have a fondness for 1848. It was the last time that the outcome of battles depended on the quality of the troops and their generals and not on technology. |
