"The U.S. Navy SEALs and the Navy Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen (SWCC) recently changed their ethos and creed statements to reflect a gender-neutral presentation of the elite Navy outfits, doing away with gendered terms like "brotherhood."

One change to the SEAL ethos was to alter a sentence in the first paragraph of the ethos to say, "Common citizens with uncommon desire to succeed" instead of the original, "A common man with uncommon desire to succeed." …"

At first I thought more political correct rubbish but if there is women etc that have passed Seal training it needs to change.
I would also not argue with that woman.

Well the critical post copied below the photo is by Eddie Gallagher, a war criminal according to the men who had the grave misfortune to serve under him. So if he's against it, chances are it's a good thing.

If you read up on the whole trial, etc, it was a mess from the start. He may have done something, but if his men under him had no proof or evidence, then what? Innocent until proven guilty by his peers as he was acquitted on 6 of the 7 charges. The last one was posing with a casualty giving him a 4 month sentence. Just a mess from the start.
