I'm hoping to finish one last Zulu unit – Unmarried warriors – before Sunday's games.
The HaT figures paint up quite well & after a bit of washing (paint not spears) & highlighting & basing, they'll look OK. |

They look good! How many Zulus do you have? I started with Esci ones a long time ago. I own some of the Hat ones too. I like the period and Colonials in general. |

15 x 20 figure units + a pile of indunas etc. They're HaT, Newline & Ravensthorpe. I also have 2 Esci units that I make Zulu allies : abaQulusi. I have 2 interesting games lined up for Sunday. |

Similar 14 units of 24 Zulu regiments plus 6 units of 12 skirmishers. They are all Esci except for the Indunas. All showing their age and lots of use and could do with tarting up Of course I recycle my "broken" units, so I don't need to paint more! |

The Esci Zulus are, of course, very nice figures. You could do worse. |
