A project completed earlier this year was my 40mm 17C polish army. Nearly all figures are my own, some converted. I sculpted basic figures for each type cavalry/infantry (the hussar wing was a challenge), made moulds and cast them. Basic figures were converted to provide command stands. As mentioned, Tiddenheim sculpted and cast these figures. The feathers on the wings were sculpted individually and then attached to the master figure. His marvelous armies are truly one-of-a-kind. |

I have played a couple of games based on historical battles in the Polish-Swedish war 1626-9 (Wallhof & Honigfelde). For the Swedes I used suitable units from my Pike & Shot Collection. The Wallhof table setup..
Also I have let them loose against my Ottoman army fighting part of Chocim 1621 (a small setup that I could fit on my game table)
