… Israeli F-35 Or U.S. F-22 Stealth Warplanes? "How does Iran's Kowsar jets compete against US & Israeli F-22 Raptors or F-35 Jets? According to experts, designed to perform close air support (CAS) and light attack operations, the fighters can also be used to support the training activities of Iranian pilots. I don't know about the aircraft but I doubt the Iranian pilots are up to the task. |

Absolutely, it has a great chance, if they can launch a tree-level attack without the Israelis finding out, the Iranians fly in low under the radar, navigate to the Israeli air bases (the really hard part of the mission), and can fly their improved F-5s into the F-35s while they sit on the tarmacs or in their hangars, in suicide attacks. Don't dismiss this tactic, since the Iranians are infamous for conducting suicide attacks against the Iraqis during the Iran-Iraq War. Not sure they'd have the range though, but might for a one way trip, especially if launched from Iraqi territory. If they have refueling probes, they could use their tankers, but doing that would give away the impending attack to the Israelis, so likely won't be used. Without using the aforementioned tactic, they have no chance at all. |

Yes, that is an older aircraft, despite its upgrades. But I think as always it will come down to pilot quality, e.g. training, experience, etc. Yes it is true never underestimate an enemy. But IMO, all the intel etc., points to the US and IDF will be victorious. |
