After watching Full Metal Jacket on TV last night (for the umpteenth time) this really appeals. I did notice the yellow stripes on the grenades and thought of your work. |

Nice touch to have a sidearm. Many grunts acquired one as a last ditch defence. |

From what I recall ordnance color markings were yellow to show it is HE. I'm sure you've see aerial bombs with a yellow nose. Frag grenades normally has a small yellow circle painted at the top just below he fuse. WP grenades had a wide (about 1 inch) yellow band near the middle. The figures you've done with the yellow band look like frags, not WP. I hope I'm not being snarky. Wolfhag |
