Hello All,
I just recently received from Gripping Beast Their "Pictish, Scottish, Irish Boat" model SHPo4.
There were no assembly instructions. Most of the kit is clear as to assembly but I am a bit confused by some parts…there is a plastic "L" shaped piece ?…maybe it's a steering mechanism , but not clear how it is to be glued. Also there are 8 little u-shaped metal bits (maybe oar locks) but again no clear place of attachment. has Anybody solved this already. GB doesn't respond to my inquiry.

I just did some googling. Yes, the u shaped bits are oarlocks. I'd glue them just in front of the seats on the sideboards. I suspect that the plastic piece you refer to is indeed a tiller, which should be somewhere on the stern of the vessel.
