There's a quote from a german officer.
He said something like.
He'd read the american training manuals and studied how they should fight.
The problem was, the americans didn't seem to have read their manuals or they ignored their training.

There's a (determinedly) repeated link to a PDF version of an Osprey title on that page that appears to be in breach of copyright, also the 'Bush Warfare' title appears to be 'all rights reserved'.

The US Army manuals should be copyright free, and there are many more titles available on the CGSC website.
