Great looking troops. I've tried to paint 6mm FPW figures but I guess my old eyes just can't handle figures that small anymore. You, however, have done a great job with them, especially your "substitutions." Jim |

Thanks Jim, my eyes aren't what they were 20 years ago when I first started 6mm in earnest. These days I use a magnifier. |

Super job – but now I feel I need to upgrade my own RTW armies to the same standard! Yes, as Frederick says, RTW is very interesting and under-gamed. The siege of Plevna is epic, of course, but I think the lesser-known field actions are even more fun to play. Aladja Dagh, Metschka-Tristenik (including a monitor on the Danube), Katseljevo-Ablava (including the Gatlings I see Matt has painted up) … we've had great games out of all of these with BBB.
