What better way to begin the gaming season than to refight the 2500th anniversary of the battle?

I, too enjoyed it, not a common thing to see – a historical refight with a historic result!

How many ships does each model represent?

If my figures are correct, and the Persians used about 1,000 ships and the Hellenes 377, then the Persians are 1:66.6 and the Greeks 1:53.8.
But who's counting, it looks about right, at least to me!

The persians had more than twice the ships which is roughly the historical proportion, to compensate the greeks had +1 to boarding to reflect their better equipped marines
