Venus 1888 -Dragon Bait VSF

Dragon Bait Miniatures has a range of 28mm female VSF troopers called 'Venus 1888' that I'm using in my SPACE 1889 campaign. I just photographed them and added them to my blog.

I wish there were figures like those in 15mm

Interesting figures.

Unfortunately, if you want the cool stuff, you have to go with larger figures.

For those folks doing VSF in 15mm (or 18mm)

I do offer these listing of potential miniatures:

These have not been updated in the longest time. But they still may be of some help.

Regarding Female troops, a conversion would not be too difficult at 15mm. I would think just the addition of the skirt would go a long way. Especially if you select another maker for the females, perhaps "true 15s". The slightly smaller size and skirt will provide a convincing difference. Avoid those with facial hair!

The mechanical unicorn is a bit more difficult.

But yes, those larger figures seams to call to the most creative sculptors, while 15mm tends more toward mass production. But keep the cause alive! Keeps asking for more small scale figures.

Sorry! I forgot to consider that.

Your presentation of the figures is quite nice.
Almost enough to make me jump scales.

Someone else makes Victorian era Female troops in continental uniforms, in 28mm of coarse. But I do not recall the name right now.

Gisby, please keep this stuff coming.

My French already have the Belle Zouaves de Butte Monmartre; perhaps I need these to support my British.

You mention they are largish. How do they compare to Foundry colonial British, for example?
