"This was the battle which sparked my interest in the War of 1812. We visited the battlefield in 1985 and I have wanted to recreate this battle on the table top since. It has simple terrain, balanced equal forces and colorful uniform. British regulars, gray jackets Americans, volunteers in mixed dress and native Indians. You would have a difficult time finding a more perfect battle to fight in miniature…"

The game looks great! I just wish most of the pics weren't as blurry. Thanks. John |

Tango, you have posted this particular battle at least three times over the years. But that is OK as I never get tired of this battle. A great War of 1812 starter battle as both sides are evenly matched. |

Tango, perhaps in the future you could give credit to the blog post or owner of the blog. I think it would be polite to thank the blog or credit it in some way. |

We were at Chippawa (along with Lundy's Lane and Fort Erie) in 2016 and the battlefield is pristine, well-maintained by Parks Canada (as is Fort Erie). Mainly, it is a large open field edged by trees, the perfect field for a battle in the open. Well done, Canada. |
