I'm trying to track down the types and numbers of guns in 3 batteries at "the angle" of Pickett's Charge, along with their exact deployments, with a view toward a diorama.

Weir

Cushing

Arnold

One interesting tidbit of information I recall coming across in connection with the Union artillery behind the stone wall at Pickett's Charge, was that at least one battery had positioned its pieces at MUCH closer intervals than the official regulations dictated.

I cannot remember where I read it (perhaps Priest's book).

FWIW.

It might be worth tracking down a copy of Fairfax Downey's The Guns at Gettysburg.
