The current IDF Namer IFV is made about an hour or so away from where I live. They are made in Lima, OH … and sent it Israel … Most/many US AFVs are made there and have been for many decades.

The US won't buy them as they are too heavy for the US to transport in the numbers we'd need for rapid force projection.

But as we saw the Bradley, Stryker and LAVs all had to be up armored once on the ground in Iraq, etc. So …

All new M48 tanks were known in IDF as Pattons – diesel Patton and gasoline Patton. As simple as that. All the fancy names Magach 1 and 2 are no more than fantasy.

What about Magach 3 to 7? Are they also fantasy?
