Having examined the COVID-19 regulations closely it appeared we could get a game in, if we were outdoors and there were 6 or less of us. So, with the recent fine weather and a gazebo, we actually played a game. Full details over on the blog: link |

Hmm…outdoors in a gazebo. What a great idea! |

That's wonderful. Glad the weather cooperated for you men and you had a great time. Just getting together had to be a special event. |

@IronDuke596: I'd say it was a stroke of genius, but it just seemed to be workable. The table also ensures social distancing. Having another go on Monday. @Bismarck: It reminded what I like most about wargaming. @79thPA: Temperature on Monday set to be 30 degrees, so maybe not cool then! |

Taipings! An underappreciated, underplayed war. I have a large collection of 15mm for this – will be interested in hearing more about the rules set you're working on. |

Any battle with tiger-men has to be a good thing. db |

@mghFond: The rules are very close to publication. There's more about them on the blog, if you use the search labels. They will be available from Amazon, at £14.99 GBP probably (in colour, c90 pages). I'll do an announcement on hobby news when they're out. @evilgong: They are fun to see on the table. Mine usually end up running away quite fast. |

That tent looks thematic too. Form, function, and fun! |

@FlyXwire: It was absolutely perfect, given the weather. It may become a fixture in future years for these games. |
