Guilford Courthouse is AWI or American Revolution, not ACW.

It's an excellent study of a famous and decisive battle. It is highly recommended and the authors did an outstanding job of writing what is now the definitive account of the action.

Something Kevin and I agree on. I would urge though that if you do find the book valuable you buy a copy. Not just to enrich the author or publisher. I have noticed several of the web sources I have relied on over the years have pulled content. Just because it is here today does not mean it will be available in a year or two.

Bill N; are you suggesting that the book itself is available at the posted link? All I get there is a rather brief 9 year old review by Prof. George Geib of Butler U.

BTW, I agree with you and Kevin about the book.

I stumbled on either it or Devil of a Whipping not too long ago. I assumed that Armand had found the same site without checking.

Yup, excellent book--lots of good detail and some myth dispelling.
