The Solomons joined the "Belt and Road" and quickly realized how frucked they are. China moved in, strip mined the seas with huge fishing fleets and put the local fishing industry out of work. And it's probably building a forward logistics station. It bought the rights to a played out gold mine and are sinking almost $1 USD Billion to "re-develop" it with a deep water harbor, a new airport, power station, etc. link |
