An interesting curiosity for sure. Downloaded and skimmed thru it. Scale is basically platoon level units with some provision for squad sized patrols and timescale is 6 hour turns. A lot of emphasis on planning, which makes sense.

Also SPI in the 70s made a great Plt level game about the early battles against the VC called "Grunt". It was very good.

I have it and some 1:50,000 scale maps of I Corps in Vietnam. I've always wanted to do a game of a Company operation from a firebase for a tour of duty.
